Shiro sees how his eyes are scrunched shut, but finally, he slides the hood all the way back to reveal his head full of hair. His hands return to feel Lance’s warm cheeks and tells him to open his eyes. Lance still hesitates but Shiro tries again. It takes a moment but then he watches Lance’s eyes flutter open, and they both smile bashfully. Shiro immediately leans in again and places gentle kisses all over Lance’s face—and, of course, his lips. They become the universe’s most adorable couple.
