I don’t know if you’re answering asks about this, but I’m kinda scared. Homestuck was and still is the biggest thing in my life. It was honestly the first big fandom I got into. I don’t want it to change. I don’t want someone to come in and change something that I love.

I don’t know if there is anything I can say to make this better – a lot of us are feeling this deep existential dread atm – but at the very least I can say that if some company rolls in and fucks everything up there’s going to be a nonzero number of us sitting here in this blue hell happily denying any of that shit is going on while continuing to write and draw and otherwise create content based on the story we actually fell in love with

and in that case we’re no worse off than we were before in regards to homestuck, at least
