minecraft was popular. so of course it was Cool to hate it. same with Halo 3. that game is god tier and people hated it because it was fucking cool and good. i’m destined to combat these stereotypes. everyone download Halo 3 and Minecraft, we can all become god.
I also think it was hated because a lot of kids played it, and if you notice, adults love shitting on things that kids like and calling it “cringy”.
