Hanahaki is literally so manipulative & shitty. Like do people not realise that having ‘I have feelings for you and if you don’t return them then I’ll die’ as commonly used romantic trope is normalising manipulation in relationships? Giving a character ‘Hanahaki disease’ is just a flowery, aesthetic way of making your character say ‘If you leave me I’ll kill myself’
