I don’t get it

Basically the Tiananmen Square massacre was a mass slaughter of protesters in the early 90s. Naturally, the Chinese government has banned any sort of discussion or documentation of it. Mentioning that incident triggers the government surveillance systems, which will automatically cut off the internet of the offending party.
