Yeah, holy shit, people are really unwilling to actually explain what went down, which was confusing as SHIT because I was offline when it happened, but here’s the run down.
For basically as long as Memeufacturing has been a Major Presence on this blog, they have been coercing online contacts to engage with them sexually, usually in the form of nudes and RP. They also spent a lot of time sending sexually aggressive messages and sexually harassing people, and continued to do so even after they were asked to stop several times. If victims refused to comply, they would threaten to kill themself until the victims gave in.
Eventually, a collection of the victims of this coercion found each other, and decided to make a callout post with a bunch of screencaps of abusive conversations happening.
Being as they are reactionary children, they conflated Memeu’s actual abusive behaviour (everything I described in the second paragraph) with the fact that Memeufacturing also had a strong doll fetish (not actually a bad thing in itself) and read pornographic comics (also not a bad thing in itself). Both of these things were used as tools of abuse, however, which is disgusting.
But it’s the abuse that’s the problem, not the porn or the kink.
Additionally, because a lot of people on this site don’t know that Memeufacturing is fifteen years old, the fact that the youngest of their victims is 13 (which is well within the peer age group for a 15 y/o child) is being used to try to paint Memeufacturing as a child molester, which is, like, it’s own level of Fucking Horrible.
Anyway, as a result of the landslide of people bearing down on them, Memeufacturing deleted and the URL has been taken by a different user now. Because of that, I don’t have any evidence of what Memeufacturing dealt with that led them to delete, but I’m told it was, ah… vile. Just, truly vile, death threats and doxxing attempts and god only knows what else.
A lot of stuff that is wildly inappropriate to do to a fifteen year old fuckup.
Personally, I feel that the response was disproportionate, and in a large part was fuelled not by actual outrage that Memeu was an abuser, but rather, as a chance for people to scream about how all kinks are rape or whatever, plus a hefty side order of getting to self-congratulate about running abusers off by tormenting a child rather than expressing to said child that they were being violent and getting both the child and their victims real, genuine help, or running off over, grown ass adults who are doing a lot more damage every single day on this blue hell (I’m talking about so/b/ercom/m/unist).
But that’s life I guess, and, all said and done, I would rather not have to deal with Memeufacturing all over my dashboard, so that’s nice.
I hope that everyone involved in that entire shitshow gets a lot, a lot of high quality therapy and ultimately comes out the other side better for it.
what did memeufacturing do? im sorry im sure many other people have asked this but all i keep seeing is other bloggers talking abt how they’re awful but not actually what they Did and everyone else just says “dont ask me look at my blog” but i have looked at many blogs and i still Cannot figure out what this person did. again im sorry for asking thanks for your time
