people these days fail to understand that liking a villain character and enjoying their complexities + finding out how they became so fucked up does not equal excusing, approving of, or forgiving them for the horrible shit they do. but i guess literally nobody is capable of critical thinking and separating fascination/enjoyment of a character from outright support of their actions
