I can’t imagine how much better my childhood would’ve been if an unashamed, inarguably romantic kiss between Princess Bubblegum and Marceline had happened in Season 1 instead of 10, but that doesn’t mean I’m not incredibly grateful for it now. My heart is so full knowing that young LGBTQ+ kids will see this kiss, and feel seen in return. Thank you, Adventure Time.
