Here’s some nostalgia for you… y’know when I posted about the lemurs I photographed?

And how tons of fellow 2000s PBS kids…

…suddenly had massive Zoboomafoo flashbacks?

image

Well, though I can’t say I’ve met the puppet version…

image

…yes, tons of these lemurs are related to the original live-action Zoboo.

And they have every bit as much personality as he did, lemme tell ya.

image

He not only lived at the Duke Lemur Center, but even parts of the original show were filmed there!

And I suddenly realized… since I already do photo work for over a dozen departments at Duke…

there’s a good chance I’ll be working with Zaboo’s family some time in the future.

Now, that’s my kind of celebrity photoshoot.

If you’re in the mood for some more nostalgia, or just want to learn what it was about, check out Defunctland’s fabulous new video on the show… or, just check out anything on the channel, really, it’s all phenomenal.
