Can I just have a moment to talk about the sheer diversity in character design for Splatoon? Like there is such a RANGE in depicting anthropomorphic sea creatures
Like for starters you got your pretty humanoid looking inkings/octolings
Then you got the less humanoid looking folk..still got features and characteristics of being anthro but with enough fish attributes to make it really clear theyre not human
Third you get the REALLY good weird designs that just ramp up the whole idea of weird cartoony mutated fish folk
Fourthly the ugly but also adorable in an odd way antagonists?
Lastly then ya just got your straight up fish in hats
