Princess Mononoke
I think the reason I enjoy Ghibli so much is it romanticizes the little things. It makes me want to bake, study, clean the house, garden, and more while listening to happy music and occasionally picking wildflowers and lying in the grass. It helps me find joy in day-to-day life and that’s honestly sooo important for my mental health.

This isn’t a Miyazaki film. It’s a gorgeous homage by a French animation student.
Gwenn Germain spent five months crafting this beautiful homage to Studio Ghibli for his final project. The French animation student’s work has gone viral in Japan. We think Miyazaki would approve.
Just realized I never reblogged this to my Tumblr even though I made it (the GIFs, obvs, not the animation), and what a shame. It’s my favorite!
