im not in the fandom anymore for reasons but shiro, the character who more than anyone else has been crucified and demonized, confirmed lgbt and the obvious parallel (ignoring it would be blatant hypocrisy) between shiro’s relationship with his ex bf, who gave up on him, and his current relationship with keith, who never did, is the biggest, most beautiful fuck you ever
Adam is not a horrible person. Adam is not a weasel. Adam didn’t do anything wrong. His relationship with Shiro was “beautiful” as put by Lauren, but as we know, Shiro’s body only had a few functioning years left. Adam was probably so scared of losing Shiro. When he breaks up with Shiro, he says, “I can’t go through this again.” Adam was just scared of losing Shiro, he was scared of getting hurt. Yes, their relationship turned out to not be able to withstand the weight of Shiro leaving, but put yourself in Adam’s shoes and have some damn sympathy. If Adam is someone who Shiro loved for years and years at the Garrison then he must’ve been a great dude. I love Sheith as much as the next person and I still believe Keith will probably end up being the man of Shiro’s dreams in the end, but Adam is not a horrible person by any means.
