hmmm consider:
1) warrior names arent gendered. there is no such thing as a “girly” name, that doesnt exist in wc.
2) the whole “-claw is symbolic” feels a little bit like an insult to the character arc that brambleclaw was set up to have and felt like it was definitely more of a burden than anything else??? like,,,, why name him after his father when his entire arc. revolves around how much he wants to separate himself from his fathers legacy. how he doesnt want to prove himself to be the good tigerstar or what tigerstar could have been, he just wants to be his own cat away from his fathers legacy entirely.
3) if brambleclaw shouldve been named after ANYONE, it should’ve been goldenflower. his mother who defended him since the moment he was born, loved him unconditionally, and wanted to protect him. while every other cat – including firestar himself – was freaking out abt brambleclaws resemblance to tigerclaw, goldenflower loved him and protected him and never resented him nor wanted her kits to live with those expectations.
